School Drop Off/Collection

Primary schools that I am willing to visit for drop off and collection of children are listed below. I will give preference to children that attend the same school when booking school aged care placements. This will ensure that children are not left waiting too long for collection after school has ended.
Prep School Children
Please be aware that every school has a different policy in regards to the dropping off and collection of their prep aged children. Some schools require someone to drop off/collect the child directly from the classroom, others will allow a drop off at the front gate or have someone bring the child to the gate for collection. I am happy to pick up prep aged children as part of my school age ratio however please note I am unable to leave my vehicle to take a child to or pick up from a classroom due to the under school aged children currently in my care. Please discuss this with me further during your initial call to see if we can arrange a suitable solution for your childs care.

What Will My Child Do While In Care?
Before and After School Care that is provided within a family day care environment offers children the opportunity to interact with a mixed age group. These children can range in age from birth – 12 years. This mixed age group gives children the opportunity to learn from each other. Games, activities and craft will be provided for your child that are age appropriate however they will also take into account the ages of those other children in care at any given time. During an afternoon session, children will have the option to complete any of the day’s homework. If you require your child to complete their homework while in care please note this on your child’s details form upon enrolment, else this will remain optional to children.
